Project info:

Our primary responsibility on this project was to carefully digitalize the revision of the building's  complete lowrise and the shafts and the technical rooms of the highrise. We updated the 2D revision to a working BIM model in alignment with RVB BIM agreements.

The Challenge:

To successfully achieve the post-renovation objective, creating a precise BIM revision model strictly attached to the RVB BIM standard was essential. Additionally, each object in the model required precise encoding per the RVB BOEI methodology, which can be complex and intricate. We anticipated Heijmans to provide us with complete and unambiguous data. Our highest priority was to ensure the model's accuracy, leaving no room for data gaps or misinterpretations. Rest assured, our approach was informative, persuasive, and confident in delivering outstanding results.

The Approach:

We successfully executed this project by implementing the structured '5 Steps to BIM Dreamland' methodology. Our collaboration with Heijmans was rigorous, ensuring comprehensive details for the As-Built BIM model. . Our approach was carefully chosen to deliver optimal results and meet all project requirements.

The Outcome:  

Our final achievement was a carefully coordinated digital Mechanical BIM model of the complete lowrise and the shafts and technical rooms of the high rise of the Laan op Zuid project. This exceptional model not only captures the physical details but also adds to specific standards and coding methodologies, making it a valuable and highly specialized deliverable for RVB. This  outcome makes sure that future renovations, adjustments, or maintenance activities can be well planned, minimizing any unnoticed challenges or inaccuracies. It also serves as a testament to the easy collaboration between teams and the efficiency of the modeling techniques employed.
